Our Programs
Weems Creek Nursery School is your quintessential nursery school. We offer half day programs taught by outstanding early education teachers and assistants who provide a balance between individual freedom and daily routines and guidance. Our teachers encourage creative self-expression, development of self-confidence, and constructive self-discipline. In a typical program, a child can experience free-choice play with a variety of materials/equipment joined with small group projects and activities. Stories, snack, music and the learning circle bring the group together. Many activities go on simultaneously where the teachers help, encourage, supervise and join the fun. Our play-based curriculum emphasizes social-emotional, cognitive and fine and gross motor skills. What begins in our 2s class is further enriched in subsequent years. 2’s Class
Classes are held Tuesday and Thursday from 8:45 - 11:45 AM

3’s Class (AM & PM)
Classes are held Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:45 - 11:45 AM & again from 12:00 - 3:00PM

PreK Class (AM & PM)
Classes are held Monday - Friday from 8:45-11:45 AM & again from 12:00 - 3:00PM

STEAM
Classes are held Tuesday and Thursday from 11:45 AM - 3:oo PM. Open to AM PreK students.
Extended Day Options
Seasonal programs such as music, balance bike classes, and more may be offered throughout the year.
Summer Session
Summer Session begins the week after the end of our school year. Enrollment is limited and is open to children in our upcoming 3s class through upcoming kindergarteners. Priority is given to current students, then siblings of students, and then opened to the public if spaces remain. Registration fee (non-refundable) and tuition are separate from the school year fees. Enrollment begins in March; call for more details.
Note: Campers must be potty trained.
